October 1: The Mat Su Borough has granted Fowler Oil and Gas a conditional use permit to drill a coalbed methane well between Palmer and Wasilla.

August 10: A conditional use permit for Fowler Oil and Gas is up for public comment, follow the link here to read the permit on the borough website. The conditional use permit application is for a cbm operation with a single well on 840 acres, underground directional drilling, a 10'x20'x10' equipment building and a gravel access road.

Fowler Oil and Gas recently sent example pictures of their proposed enviromentally friendly drill sites. The following two pictures are from them, the third is from a pilot well drilled by Evergreen several years ago.
